VAS is particularly useful when you want to leave out background noise while recording. Moving VAS bar you adjust the level of loudness that will be picked up by Audio Notes Touch, only the sounds that reach this level will be recorded.

Microphone auto gain increases sensitivity of built-in microphone and thus allows recording even at a long disance. You can choose between low, middle, high or no microphone gain at all.

Audio Notes Touch is also a very useful tool for managing your records. It shows right from the start - Audio Notes Touch allows to rename a file right while it is being recorded.
