Improved Categories

Only Jog Dial and three hardware buttons to manage all your contacts in the phonebook! You will need a stylus only to perform some additional actions such as editing categories or sending the contacts.
You can also finish incoming calls while talking by pressing the Jog Dial wheel. | |
Option of adding one contact to several categories allows assigning properties to entire categories: set a ring tone for the entire category, rather than for each contact separately, or create a category, for which you will hide your caller ID.
You can create your own categories and modify the standard ones.

 Flip Open mode search features a QuickSearch Panel that allows to navigate through hundreds of contacts using only Jog Dial.

VITO QuickContact is available in eleven languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Swedish, Dutch, Hebrew, Polish, and Czech.
Tabs and flip keypad layouts are available for extended Roman (West European) and Cyrillic character sets.

Core functions:
- Full set of standard actions with contacts: dialing, adding new contacts, editing, search, tabs, sending, support of categories.
- No-stylus operation: search, dialing, menu navigation, finishing calls can be performed using only Jog Dial and hardware buttons.
- Assigning a ringtone to a group: create categories of contacts that will have a custom ringtone.
- Synchronized Flip Closed and Flip Open states: if you write SMS in Flip Closed mode, you can open the flip and continue typing.
- Multilingual support and interface: feel free to write us in English, German, or Russian. We continuously work on adding new interface languages.
- Custom colors and flip closed view for P900: make QuickContact look like you want.
- Birthday display: synchronize your contacts with Outlook to display birthdays for all contacts that have birthday set in Outlook
- Ending incoming calls with a Jog Dial press: feature available only with QuickContact!
Flip Open mode:
- Button mapping: customize behavior of all three buttons independently for Flip Closed and Flip Open modes. You can launch applications, open menus in QuickContact and more.
- Show/Hide Caller ID: the rule can be set for the entire category.NEW
Flip Closed mode:
- T9-like search: in Flip Closed mode, you can search for contacts using predictive text input method.
- Send SMS when Flip Closed: only with QuickContact you can send SMS right from the contacts list.
- Show/Hide Caller ID: now in Flip Closed mode also.NEW
Maintenance:
- Sending contacts and categories: you can select a contact or a category to send using SMS, Bluetooth, IR connection, or MMS.
- Backup and restore contacts: using Contacts Manager, you can backup and restore your contacts database.
- Keeping your database small: with Compress Contacts feature, your contacts database will always be compact.
Additional functions:
- Screen Lock: saves battery while you don't use your phone. (plugin)
- Automatic start of applications: saves your time and speeds up the boot-up process. (plugin)
- Managing tasks: you can run and quit applications right in QuickContact, using hardware buttons and Jog Dial. (plugin)
- Preferred number: you can choose a default number for each contact. This number will appear at the top of the list.NEW

 | Screen Lock | Screen Lock provides extra opportunities even when you don't use your phone. It turns off backlight and saves battery life.
When locked, screen displays large clock.

 | Task Manager | Run, switch, and close applications without leaving QuickContact - and everything with one hand! You can assign a hardware button to show the main menu, and start and end applications pressing the Jog Dial.
