Install VITO ButtonMapper directly onto device storage memory. Soft reset it after setup is complete.

Why can't I use Record button options (single stroke start notes, press-n-hold starts recording by default) when ButtonMapper is enabled?
Unfortunately, we couldn't emulate double function for Pocket Outlook applications and had to disable it in VITO ButtonMapper.

ButtonMapper doesn't function after I launch Windows Media Player.
Disable Media Player bindings for hardware buttons as it toggles ButtonMapper off after launch. We recommend using Media Player specific bindings to operate it with tap emulation feature.

Screen calibration goes out while recording macros.
Try one of the following:

1.Download and reinstall the latest version of VITO ButtonMapper (Note: you need to download exe of ButtonMapper that includes MacroRecorder responsible for macros recording or install MacroRecorder from your Pocket PC)

2. If step 1 doesn't solve the problem, do the following:
2.1 Go to screen alignment menu in your settings and make 5 screenshots (with the cross in the center and in the cornres of the screen). You can use VITO ScreenCapture to make the screenshots (free trial for 14 days).
2.2 Download the program getoeminfo.exe and run it on your Pocket PC. There will appear a window OEM string with text.
2.3 Send the text from OEM string window alongside with the screenshots you've previously made to support@vitotechnology.com
2.4 Expect a version of MacroRecorder copmatible with your device soon.

Buttons perform different actions from those I assigned in ButtonMapper.

Most probably you're trying to perform the actions you assigned to the buttons while running some third party aplications. These applications when active usually intercept hardware buttons functionality. You can still cancel it and assign the functions you want for every individual application. To do it go to the regular buttons settings and in the dropdown menu "Configuration" choose the application for which you want to change buttons functionality. Then assign a necessary command to the button.
